The second season of Severance has been a long time coming, and we’re finally getting closer to finally reaching it. Apple TV+ recently shared a first-look photo of the leading man Adam Scott, officially confirming that the second season of the hit series is underway.

The sci-fi psychological thriller hails from creator Dan Erickson and directors Ben Stiller and Aoife McArdle. It centers on a grieving man working for a mysterious corporation Lumon, which allows their office workers to have their memories split between their work and personal lives.

Stiller confirmed that Severance will soon be back for Season 2, saying, “We are thrilled and delighted to be back on set for the exciting second chapter of Severance. Though we don’t know how long we’ve been gone or who we are outside, we are told people enjoy the show and we couldn’t be happier. Praise Kier!”

In addition to Scott, the first season of Severance also starred Zach Cherry, Britt Lower, Tramell Tillman, Jen Tullock, Dichen Lachman, Michael Chernus, John Turturro, Christopher Walken, and Patricia Arquette.

Bob Balaban, Gwendoline Christie, Alia Shawkat, Merritt Wever, John Noble, Robby Benson, Stefano Carannante, and Ólafur Darri Ólafsson are expected to join them in Season 2, which still doesn’t have a release date.
