Emily in Paris is one of Netflix’s most popular guilty pleasure shows, and its fourth season will take us back to the City of Love! Lily Collins confirmed that the show’s fourth season kicked off production in Paris, and Ashley Park is expected to join the cast soon despite a recent medical emergency.
Collins confirmed the start of production by sharing a photo of the script for the first episode of Season 4, directed by Andy Fleming. She said it feels so good to be back with her Emily in Paris family in the French capital, but jokingly added she may need to brush up on her selfie skills for Emily’s sake.
Ashley Park, who plays Emily’s BFF Mindy, is also expected to return in Season 4 following a critical septic shock. She’s recovering well after being hospitalized while vacationing in Thailand, and her co-star Lily Collins sent love and support her way after she reflected on her medical scare on social media.
“I can hardly look at these without crying. I love you sister and I’m forever grateful you’re on the other side of this and for [Paul Forman] for your incredibly huge heart and for being there every step of the way. I cannot wait to hug you both,” wrote Collins on Instagram.
