Bridgerton will soon return for the second part of its third season, and it seems Penelope and Colin will have to face many obstacles on their way to the aisle. The new trailer sees tensions arise for the young couple, as Penelope tries to hide a secret that could destroy their future together.
The first part of Season 3 wrapped up with Colin essentially proposing to Penelope, and Part 2 will chronicle the aftermath of their infamous carriage encounter. Colin announces their betrothal to the Bridgertons, with Penelope in hand, but one member of his family isn’t too thrilled about his engagement.
Penelope’s former BFF Eloise gives her the cold shoulder because she’s the only one who knows she’s actually Lady Whistledown. She threatens to reveal her secret to the world, and Penelope must decide between her love for Colin and the power she wields within society as Lady Whistledown.
Nicola Coughlin and Luke Newton lead the third season of Bridgerton as Penelope and Colin, with Jonathan Bailey, Simone Ashley, Claudia Jessie, Luke Thompson, Golda Rosheuvel, Adjoa Andoh, Ruth Gemmell, Hannah Dodd, and Jessica Madsen in supporting roles.
Bridgerton will return to Netflix for Season 3 – Part 2 on June 13.
