Running a Hollywood studio is a risky business, and the new Apple TV+ series The Studio will chronicle all the ups and downs it brings along. Seth Rogen leads the first trailer for this series as the head of a major movie studio trying to keep it alive while dealing with capricious A-list stars.
The Studio stars Rogen Matt Remick, the newly appointed head of Continental Studios, as he tries to keep this company afloat in the era of cinema where movies are struggling to stay alive and relevant.
“With their power suits masking their never-ending sense of panic, every party, set visit, casting decision, marketing meeting, and award show presents them with an opportunity for glittering success or career-ending catastrophe. As someone who eats, sleeps, and breathes movies, it’s the job Matt’s been pursuing his whole life, and it may very well destroy him,” reads the show’s official logline.
In addition to Rogen, this series will also star Catherine O’Hara, Kathryn Hahn, Ike Barinholtz, and Chase Sui Wonders in supporting roles. Its first trailer also teases an impressive roster of A-list guest stars, which includes the likes of Bryan Cranston, Martin Scorsese, Charlize Theron, and Ron Howard.
The Studio will premiere on Apple TV+ on March 26, 2025, with the first two episodes, while the remaining eight will debut weekly.
