“Shameless” Star Emmy Rossum Reacts To Show Ending

Shameless star Emmy Rossum has shared her thoughts on social media about the show coming to an end after eleven seasons.

The news that the US drama would finally be coming to an end was announced last week. Rossum played Fiona Gallagher in the long-running series but left the show after season 9 to pursue other things.

Rossum has now revealed that she in fact found out about the show coming to an end via her Twitter feed. Instead of being sore, she voiced her congratulations on social media.

Taking to Twitter to share her thoughts, the star wrote: “Just learned about SHAMELESS on Twitter! Eleven seasons is ten more than most shows get! Bravo to an incredible run for a wonderful cast and crew.”

Currently, Rossum is filming for the upcoming series Angelyne, in which she will be playing the titular character. She recently shared a photo of herself with platinum blonde hair, giving us a glimpse at what she will look like in character.

Season 10 of Shameless airs on Showtime in the U.S.
