The first season of Poker Face was one star-studded affair, and its next chapter is slowly rounding out an equally impressive ensemble. Four new cast members just joined Natasha Lyonne in the highly-anticipated Season 2, including Sherry Cola and Kathrine Narducci.
Lyonne leads this “case-of-the-week” murder mystery series as a human lie detector Charlie Cale. After her talent to tell when someone’s not telling the truth gets her in trouble, she goes on the run from a sinister casino owner and starts solving suspicious crimes along the way.
Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad), Katie Holmes (Ray Donovan), Gaby Hoffmann (Transparent), and Kumail Nanjiani (Welcome to Chippendales) previously joined Season 2 in guest-starring roles, and they’ll be in pretty good company. The list of new additions also includes Sherry Cola (Good Trouble), Kevin Corrigan (The Get Down), Ben Marshall (Please Don’t Destroy), and Kathrine Narducci (Euphoria).
This series will mark a reunion for Lyonne and Corrigan, who’ve previously starred in Slums of Beverly Hills by each other’s side. She also collaborated with Ben Marshall in the past—he served as a writer on the Saturday Night Live episode she hosted in 2022.
Poker Face was created for Peacock by Rian Johnson, and it premiered to critical acclaim in 2023.
