It’s only been a few days since Shrinking returned to Apple TV+ for its second season, and another chapter is already on the way. The streaming giant officially renewed the hit comedy series led by Jason Segel and Harrison Ford for its third season.
Shrinking stars Segel as a grieving therapist Jimmy Laird, who’s struggling to get over his wife’s passing. In the midst of his grief, he finds himself ignoring all ethical barriers of his profession, telling his clients exactly what he thinks, and making massive changes to his and their lives along the way.
Segel leads the cast of Shrinking alongside Harrison Ford as Jimmy’s boss and mentor, while the supporting cast includes Jessica Williams, Christa Miller, Michael Urie, Luke Tennie, Lukita Maxwell, and Ted McGinley. Brett Goldstein and Damon Wayans Jr. are among the newcomers joining the cast in guest roles in Season 2.
Bill Lawrence, who created this series for Apple TV+ alongside Segel and Ted Lasso’s Brett Goldstein, said they’re grateful for the opportunity to keep making it.
“I’m so lucky to work on Shrinking with actors, writers, and a crew so talented that they all elevate the material,. I’m even luckier that they are people I’d want to spend time with anyway. Huge thanks to to Apple TV+ and Warner Bros. for the amazing partnership and support,” said Lawrence in a statement.
