“Silicon Valley” Returns For Sixth and Final Season in October

Martin Starr, Zach Woods, Thomas Middleditch, and Kumail Nanjiani in "Silicon Valley"

Silicon Valley’s final season will hit the premiere cabler on October.

While HBO has confirmed the news Wednesday at TCA, it has yet to confirm a specific date.

The seven-episode season of the Emmy Award-winning comedy is set to premiere for the last time this fall. The decision follows news of delays on the show’s final season back in November 2018.

Silicon Valley was created by Mike Judge, John Altschuler and Dave Krinsky. It stars Thomas Middleditch, Zach Woods, Kumail Nanjiani, Martin Starr, Amanda Crew, Jimmy O. Yang, Suzanne Cryer, Matt Ross and Josh Brener.

“Silicon Valley has been a career and life highlight for us,” series executive producers and showrunners Judge and Alec Berg said when the final season was announced.

“We’ll miss it desperately, but we’ve always let Pied Piper’s journey guide the way, and Season 6 seems to be the fitting conclusion. We are forever indebted to our incredible cast, crew and partners at HBO. At a certain point, there’s only so much we can do to make the world a better place.”
