It’s only been a week since the second season of Amazon Prime Video’s series Reacher wrapped up, and we already know what its next chapter has in store. Lee Child’s Persuader, the seventh book in the Jack Reacher series, will serve as the source material for Season 3.
This hit series centers on Jack Reacher (Alan Ritchson), a former military policeman, using his investigative and combat skills to solve crimes while traveling from town to town across the United States.
The third season is already filming in Toronto, and it will see Reacher going undercover to rescue an informant held by a haunting foe from his past. Lee Child’s book Persuader will serve as inspiration for the show’s next chapter.
Ritchson recently discussed the Season 2 finale with Variety and revealed what he’d like to see in the show’s next chapter.
“By the time people get to the end, they’re going to be saying, ‘Seasons 1 and 2 are so good, but where can he go from here?’ I want to see more of the 110th. How are we gonna get them in? We’ll have all the same problems all over again for season 3, I’m sure,” said Ritchson, referring to the 110th Special Investigations Unit that Reacher was a part of during his army days.
