The third season of Bridgerton is coming our way this spring, and the more we learn about it—the more excited we are! Netflix teased its release with a brief promo clip, which sees the sparks flying between Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton.
Season 3 will kick off with Penelope finally giving up her childhood crush on Colin, after realizing her love is unrequited. She decides to focus on finding a suitable husband, but her lack of confidence gets in the way.
Colin decides to get back in her good graces by mentoring her to win over potential suitors. Judging by the new sneak peek, his lessons are working a little bit too well, as Colin seems quite smitten by Penelope after she delivers a line, “Your eyes… a most remarkable shade of blue” with a hint of longing in her voice.
In addition to Nicola Coughlan as Penelope and Luke Newton as Colin, Season 3 will also star Jonathan Bailey, Ruth Gemmell, Claudia Jessie, Golda Rosheuvel, Luke Thompson, Simone Ashley, Golda Rosheuvel, Adjoa Andoh, and Julie Andrews as the voice of Lady Whistledown.
The show’s third season will be split into two parts, set to premiere on Netflix on May 16 and June 13.
