Squid Game is returning for its long-awaited Season 2 this winter, and it will introduce us to a new batch of players when it comes back. Netflix dropped a new teaser to present a new group of people who will fight a deadly game against Gi-hun aka Player 456.

Season 2 takes place three years after the events of the first season, and it sees Gi-hun returning back home from the United States with one goal in mind – diving into the mysterious survival game that almost cost him his life, in an attempt to dismantle it from inside and unmask the people behind it.

Netflix’s new promo clip teases the return of Lee Jung-jae as Seong Gi-hun, but he’s not the only player rocking that iconic green jacket. The dramatically-lit teaser also introduces us to a new batch of players by spotlighting the numbers on the back of their jackets.

Season 2 will mark the return of Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-hun, Wi Ha-jun, and Gong Yoo, and it will also star Yim Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul, Park Gyu-young, Lee Jin-uk, Park Sung-hoon, Yang Dong-geun, Kang Ae-sim, Lee David, Choi Seung-hyun, Roh Jae-won, Jo Yu-ri, and Won Ji-an.

Squid Game will return to Netflix on December 26, and it’s already been renewed for the third and final season.
