Squid Game is one of the most popular shows to ever premiere on Netflix, and its second season is just a month away. The streaming giant teased its return with a brand-new trailer that sees Player 456 stepping back into the arena and fighting for his life in a series of deadly new games.

The first season of this hit series saw Seong Gi-hun aka Player 456 taking part in a series of children’s games with deathly consequences for a chance to win a life-changing prize. He barely managed to make it out alive, and Season 2 will see him returning for another round in an attempt to end the horrifying competition once and for all.

Netflix’s new trailer sees Seong Gi-hun returning to the arena with a group of new players, determined to change their lives, no matter what the cost. Some of the games from the first season will make a comeback, including the iconic “Red Light, Green Light”, but the new trailer also introduces terrifying new challenges.

Lee Jung-jae leads the cast of this series, and he’ll be joined by Lee Byung-hun, Wi Ha-jun, Gong Yoo, Yim Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul, Park Gyu-young, Lee Jin-uk, Park Sung-hoon, Yang Dong-geun, Kang Ae-sim, Lee David, Choi Seung-hyun, Roh Jae-won, Jo Yu-ri, and Won Ji-an in its second season.

Season 2 of Squid Game will premiere on Netflix on December 26, and the streamer is already plotting its third and final season.
