Starz recently celebrated World Outlander Day, and they found a perfect way to mark the occasion. They dropped the teaser trailer for the second part of Season 7 and revealed it would be released in November.

Caitríona Balfe and Sam Heughan lead the adaptation of Diana Gabaldon’s hit book series, which chronicles the epic journey of combat nurse Claire Randall, who’s swept centuries back into the past, where she falls in love with a dashing Highland warrior Jamie Fraser.

According to the official Season 7 synopsis, viewers will find Claire, Jamie, and young Ian leaving the colonies and arriving in their beloved homeland of Scotland, where the perils of the Revolutionary War force them to choose between standing by those they love and fighting for the land they have made their new home.

Starz also shared some exciting news about Season 8 of this historical epic, revealing a list of new cast members joining its ensemble. Kieran Bew (House of the Dragon) will play a retired British soldier Captain Charles Cunningham, Frances Tomelty (Catastrophe) joined the cast as his mother Elspeth Cunningham, while Carla Woodcock (Such Brave Girls) will star as Amaranthus Grey.

Outlander will return for the second half of Season 7 on November 22, while the upcoming Season 8 will serve as its final chapter.
