The cast of Wednesday is a true embarrassment of riches, and it will get even better in Season 3. Steve Buscemi, the Emmy-nominated star of Boardwalk Empire and Miracle Workers, will join Jenna Ortega in the second season of the hit Netflix series.

The Addams Family spin-off centers on the adventures of the teenage Wednesday Addams at Nevermore Academy. Her first term was quite eventful, and we’ve seen her try to put an end to a monstrous killing spree terrorizing a local town, while also getting to the bottom of a decades-long mystery involving her parents.

Jenna Ortega will be back in the titular role in Season 2 of Wednesday, which she previously described as “bigger” than the first and “action-packed”. Several Season 1 cast members would most likely join her in Season 2, including Percy Hynes White, Emma Myers, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Luis Guzman.

They’ll be joined by Steve Buscemi in an undisclosed role, but it’s been rumored he’ll play the new Nevermore Academy principal, replacing Gwendoline Christie. On the TV side, Buscemi is best known as the star of the HBO crime drama Boardwalk Empire, which earned him two Emmy nominations. He most recently starred in the TBS anthology comedy series Miracle Workers opposite Daniel Radcliffe.
