It’s been over a decade since Steve Carell and Tina Fey co-starred in Date Night, and they’re finally ready to join forces again. Carell joined Fey in the upcoming Netflix comedy series The Four Seasons, based on the hit ’80s movie of the same name.

The star-studded cast of the original film included Alan Alda, Carol Burnett, Rita Moreno, and Jack Weston, and it centered on three couples who vacation together every season. Their group dynamic is forever changed when one of the couples files for a divorce.

The Four Seasons will reunite Fey with 30 Rock alums Lang Fisher and Tracey Wigfield, who co-created this series by her side. They’ll all be credited as executive producers alongside David Miner, Eric Gurian, and Jeff Richmond.

Fey and Carell previously led Shawn Levy’s romantic comedy Date Night in 2010. They were both at the peak of their fame at the time, leading NBC’s hit sitcoms 30 Rock and The Office.

The Four Seasons will mark Carell’s first major TV role since he starred in Netflix’s workplace comedy Space Force and Hulu’s psychological thriller The Patient in 2022. He has several high-profile voice roles lined up this year, including Despicable Me 4 and John Krasinski’s IF.
