The second season of Silo finally has a release date, and one major star joined its cast ahead of its premiere in November. The White Lotus actor Steve Zahn hopped on board this Apple TV+ sci-fi drama, and his casting has been confirmed at the San Diego Comic-Con.
According to its official logline, Silo is set “in a ruined and toxic future, thousands live in a giant silo deep underground” and centers on engineer Juliette who starts to uncover shocking secrets about the silo after its residents die mysteriously.
In addition to Rebecca Ferguson, Season 2 of Silo will also star Common, Tim Robbins, Harriet Walter, Chinaza Uche, Avi Nash, Alexandria Riley, Shane McCrae, Remmie Milner, Clare Perkins, Billy Postlethwaite, Rick Gomez, Caitlin Zoz, Tanya Moodie, and Iain Glen.
Steve Zahn joined them as Solo ahead of the second season, which will premiere on Apple TV+ on November 15. It will feature ten episodes, airing weekly through January 17, 2025.
Steve Zahn is the Emmy-nominated star of The White Lotus, who recently appeared in several acclaimed TV projects. He starred in George & Tammy and The Righteous Gemstones, and will next be seen opposite Glen Powell in the Hulu comedy Chad Powers.
