It feels like forever since the last season of Stranger Things premiered on Netflix, but this show is finally gearing up for a comeback. The new trailer for the fourth season is here, and it takes us to sunny California, where Eleven tries to start her life anew.

Millie Bobby Brown catches us up to speed with everything that’s been going on in Eleven’s life in a voiceover from the letter she’s writing to Mike (Finn Wolfhard):

“Dear Mike, today is day 185. I think I have finally adapted. I even like school now. I have made lots of friends. Even so, I am ready for spring break, mostly because I get to see you. We will have the best spring break ever.”

In addition to Brown and Wolfhard, Season 4 will see many fan favorites return to their respective roles, starting with Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, and Noah Schnapp. It will also feature several newcomers to the Stranger Things world, including Sherman Augustus, Mason Dye, Nikola Djuricko, and Robert Englund.

Season 4 is yet to get an official release date, but it’s expected to hit Netflix in summer 2022. It will feature a total of nine episodes with cryptic titles, such as The Hellfire Club, Vecna’s Curse, and The Monster and The Superhero.
