There’s a lot of anticipation leading up to Season 5 of Stranger Things, and Netflix just added some more fuel to the fire. The streaming giant dropped a two-minute promo clip that takes us behind the scenes of the show’s long-awaited final season.
Season 5 hit the halfway mark of filming, and Netflix marked the occasion by dropping an emotional behind-the-scenes video. It sees the cast and crew of the beloved series reflecting on the journey they embarked on, with Milly Bobby Brown saying, “I started when I was 10, I’m now turning 20 years old. Feels very weird.”
Winona Ryder, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Joe Keery, and Maya Hawke are also among the cast members making an appearance in the video, along with the Stranger Things creators the Duffer Brothers.
Season 5 will also mark the arrival of several newcomers, and Netflix just revealed the casting of Nell Fisher, Jake Connelly, and Alex Breaux. The Terminator star Linda Hamilton has previously been cast in a mystery role.
The final season of Stranger Things still doesn’t have a release date, but it’s expected to premiere sometime in 2025. It will feature eight episodes, but it remains unclear if it’ll follow a two-part release schedule of Season 4.
