The fifth season of Stranger Things has been a long time coming, and its grand finale is finally on the horizon. Netflix announced that the hit sci-fi show wrapped production ahead of its 2025 release date, while many of its young stars bid an emotional farewell to the series that gave them their big break.

Netflix dropped hints about what Season 5 has in store by sharing a series of behind-the-scenes photos from the set of the final season. The show’s last season officially wrapped production, but we’ll have to wait until next year to see what its grand finale has in store.

Many Stranger Things stars bid farewell to the series that put them on the map, including Millie Bobby Brown, who said she’ll “forever carry the memories and bonds” she created while filming this series during her final day on set.

She’ll return for the show’s fifth and final season along with Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, and Priah Ferguson.

Season 5 will feature a significant time jump, and it will take us to Hawkins in the fall of 1987, over a year after the devastating events of Season 4. Netflix is yet to announce its release date, but we know it will feature eight episodes, including the series finale titled “The Rightside Up”.
