Stacey Dooley has one particular dancer in mind to be partnered with for Strictly Come Dancing 2018.

Dooley is an on-screen journalist who has covered serious world issues in her hard-hitting documentaries, Stacey Dooley investigates. She has covered issues from child soldiers to sex trafficking and the war on drugs. Her quality journalism won her the honour of being made an MBE for her services.

The journalist will be one of the celebrities joining Strictly Come Dancing this year. She has already set her sights on who she’d like to be partnered up with for the show.

“There’s a couple of the lads I quite like,” she told Digital Spy, after highly praising the female dancers on the show.

She then confessed: “I want… I feel awful saying it because if I don’t get him, I’ll have the hump! But I want Kevin [Clifton].”

“I just think he’s a real brilliant dancer,” she explained. “But they’re all amazing, like I trained with a few of them and they’re so talented. You can’t believe how well they move.”

She added: “Everywhere I look, there’s like abs abs abs!”

Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One on September 8.
