Reginald the Vampire ran on Syfy for two seasons, and we won’t get a chance to sink our teeth into another one. The horror comedy series led by Spider-Man star Jacob Batalon was officially canceled shortly after Season 2 ended its run.
Based on Johnny B. Truant’s book series Fat Vampire, this horror comedy series sees Reginald Andres finally getting his life together after becoming a vampire. Even though he doesn’t fit into the stereotypical expectations of what a vampire should look like, he manages to become an unlikely hero.
He finally feels at home after becoming a part of an unlikely cohort of undead creatures, including the cool vampire who sired him, the former vampire chieftain turned unexpected ally, and his co-worker and former girlfriend.
In addition to Batalon in the lead role, the cast of Reginald the Vampire also included Savannah Basley, Em Haine, Mandela Van Peebles, Jeremiah Chechik, Harley Peyton, Christin Park, Aren Buchholz, Thailey Roberge, Marguerite Hanna, and Ryan Jinn.
Reginald the Vampire was created for Syfy by Harley Peyton, and it originally premiered in 2022. Both seasons featured ten episodes, and the show’s cancelation was announced shortly after Season 2 ended its run on July 10.
