Peacock is currently rounding out the cast of Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist, and this limited series is proving to be one star-studded affair. This high-profile series found its Muhammad Ali in Dexter Darden, and he’ll be joined by Taraji P. Henson in a key supporting role.

Fight Night will take us to ’70s Atlanta, and it’s been described as “the infamous story of how an armed robbery during the night of Muhammad Ali’s historic 1970 comeback fight changed not only one man’s life but an entire city’s destiny.”

Dexter Darden, best known as Frypan from the Maze Runner film series, will play Muhammad Ali. He’ll be joined by Taraji P. Henson, who already partnered up with several Fight Night cast and crew members, including Craig Brewer and Terrence Howard, with whom she notably collaborated on Hustle & Flow and Empire.

Henson will play Vivian Thomas, a savvy businesswoman and the mistress of Kevin Hart’s character Chicken Man, described as “a hustler trying to level up.” They’ve also worked on multiple projects together, including Think Like a Man and Not Easily Broken.

In addition to Henson, Darden, Hart, and Howard, Fight Night will also star Samuel L. Jackson, while the rest of the cast is yet to be announced.
