Lucy and Stephen faced many ups and downs in the first season of Tell Me Lies, and their rocky romance will soon enter its next stage. Grace Van Patten and Jackson White return in the first teaser for Hulu’s romance drama, which sees their characters facing new challenges.
Based on Carola Lovering’s book of the same name, Tell Me Lies chronicles the tumultuous but intoxicating relationship between Lucy Albright and Stephen DeMarco, as it unfolds over the course of eight years. They meet during their time at college, and what starts as a typical campus romance quickly turns into an addictive entanglement that will permanently alter the course of their lives.
According to Hulu’s official Logline, Season 2 “picks up as Lucy and Stephen return to college, at odds after their breakup and trapped in a new version of their volatile dynamic”, while “the story also dives deeper into the friend group, as the fallout from Season 1 reverberates in unexpected ways.”
In addition to Grace Van Patten and Jackson White in the lead roles, the cast of Season 2 will also include Cat Missal, Spencer House, Sonia Mena, Branden Cook, and Alicia Crowder, plus newcomers Tom Ellis, Thomas Doherty, and Katherine Hughes. It will premiere on Hulu on September 4 with the first two episodes.
