The Night Agent is returning to Netflix in less than a month, and we’ll finally know what Peter Sutherland will be up to in Season 2. The first promo clip for the show’s next season was released on Christmas Day, and it sees our favorite night agent searching for a mole in the CIA.
The first season of The Night Agent centered on a rookie FBI agent Peter Sutherland, who’s plunged into a deadly conspiracy involving a mole at the White House after answering a midnight phone call. Season 2 will see him looking for a mole in the CIA alongside the cybersecurity expert Rose Larkin, facing a ruthless intelligence broker and a deadly war criminal along the way.
“Peter’s efforts to save the president were successful, and now he’s earned the opportunity to become a Night Agent. Working in the secretive organization Night Action in Season 2 will push Peter into a world where danger is everywhere and trust is in short supply,” reads Netflix’s official logline.
Gabriel Basso will be back as Peter Sutherland in Season 2, and he’ll be joined by Luciane Buchanan, Amanda Warren, Arienne Mandi, Louis Herthum, Berto Colon, Michael Malarkey, Keon Alexander, Brittany Snow, Teddy Sears, Navid Negahban, and Rob Heaps.
The Night Agent will return to Netflix on January 23, 2025, and it’s already been renewed for Season 3.
