Season 7 of the sci-fi drama will be its last.

The CW’s The 100 will end with its upcoming seventh season. According to multiple reports, the announcement was made by the CW President Mark Pedowitz at the TCA summer press tour.

Showrunner Jason Rothberg also confirmed the news via Twitter.

“With #The100 Season 6 finale just days away, I have some bittersweet news to share: Season 7 will be our last. We are eternally grateful to WB & CW for always allowing us to tell our story the way we want to & to wrap the show on our terms. What an incredible ride this has been!”

Pedowitz added, “We’ve been very good at listening to our showrunner creators about the right time to end our series.”

The post apocalyptic drama follows a group of 100 teenage delinquents aboard a space ark who are sent to the ground a century after it was ravaged by nuclear war to see if it’s safe to return. It stars Eliza Taylor, Paige Turco, Bob Morley, Marie Avgeropoulos, Lindsey Morgan, Richard Harmon, Shannon Kook, JR Bourne and Tasya Teles.
