The Bear is one of the buzziest new shows to premiere during the 2020s, and we won’t have to wait too long for its third season. FX boss John Landgraf revealed that the Emmy-winning dramedy will be back this June, and confirmed its next season will be released as a binge drop.

Given the slow rollout of several hit shows in the face of the dual strikes in Hollywood last year, The Bear fans feared its third season wouldn’t be back for its traditional June binge, but FX boss John Landgraf ensured them everything is going according to plan.

The Bear is coming back this June, and FX and Hulu are planning to drop all the episodes at once because it would be too anxiety-inducing for the fans to wait for new episodes each week.

“When we came back for Season 2, we debated, since we knew now that we had a hit, can we milk it a little bit? Can we roll it out over weeks, more Bear is better? We then thought that’s a rotten thing to do, to change it up for the audience,” explained Landgraf.

The Bear is fresh from winning several Emmy Awards for its first season, including outstanding comedy series and acting accolades for its stars Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edibiri, and Ebo Moss-Bachrach.
