The first week of January would not be complete without tuning in for The Big Fat Quiz Of Everything, where three teams of comedians and celebs go up against each other to see who knows the most about, well, everything.
Jimmy Carr was as charming and relentless as ever, roasting some staple TV and music icons with a mischievous grin on his face. On the panel this year was Joe Lycett with the lovely Sandi Toksvig, who seemed to genuinely know everything and really should have blown the other teams out the water.
In the second team was the comic relief factor Big Narstie, who decided to take a nap halfway through the show. Accompanying him was Katherine Ryan aka “Quiz Jenner”, who was a fabulous imitation of the Kardashian queen. On the third team were comedians David Baddiel and Frank Skinner.
As always, Channel 4 news reader Jon Snow featured on the show in the song lyrics round, this time busting some moves to “Milkshake” by Kelis. Other celebrity guests included Charles Dance and Stacey Solomon.
The chosen panel this year was perhaps not as popular as previous years, but they did a great job regardless. There were plenty of laughs, a whole bunch of quizzing and a healthy dose of cheating as always.
Although Jimmy Carr joked he is surprised the annual show is still running, we can’t imagine our January without it.
