The Cast of “Community” Will Reunite For a Movie If Dan Harmon Writes It

The cast of Community has said that they will reunite for a spin-off film if Dan Harmon writes the script.

It has been four years since the final season of Community aired. Since then, fans have expressed their desire for the stories to be revisited, whatever form that might take. Although the cast has moved on to new things, they have unanimously expressed their willingness to reprise their roles should Harmon request it.

At the Vulture Festival last week, cast members Joel McHale, Alison Brie, Gillian Jacobs, Danny Pudi, Jim Rash, Yvette Nicole Brown, and Ken Jeong attended a panel with writers Chris McKenna and Dan Harmon. They gathered to chat about their fondest memories of the series.

Typically, someone brought up the rumor of a movie being made. McHale joked that it would take “$1 million dollars for Donald Glover,” aka Childish Gambino, who was absent at the panel.

Harmon then questioned how he could get everyone on board and Alison Brie responded: “Sounds like it starts with you, Dan.”

It’s only a matter of time before an enthusiastic fan creates a petition for Dan to get writing!
