The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin is one of the quirkiest shows to premiere on Apple TV+ this week, and we’re getting another chapter of this story. Noel Fielding’s historical comedy series has officially been renewed for Season 2.

Apple TV+ describes this series as the irreverent retelling set in the 18th century about Dick Turpin, described as “the most famous but least likely of highway robbers, whose success is defined mostly by his charm, showmanship, and great hair.”

He joins forces with a gang of lovable rogues and sets out on a journey of wildly absurd escapades as they try to outwit the corrupt lawman and self-appointed thief-taker Jonathan Wilde.

The beloved British comedian Noel Fielding leads the cast of this series, which features a host of great British comedy talent, including Duayne Boachie, Ellie White, Dolly Wells, Mark Heap, Marc Wootton, Hugh Bonneville, Asim Chaudhry, Diane Morgan, and Jessica Hynes.

The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin was developed for Apple TV+ by Big Talk Studios, with Fielding, Richard Naylor, and Jon Brittain serving as its writers. Ben Palmer and George Kane both directed three out of six episodes of this historical comedy, which streamed on Apple TV+ throughout March.
