The cast of the final two seasons of The Crown is shaping up to be pretty amazing, and another masterful actress just joined the royal ensemble. The Australian star Elizabeth Debicki will be in charge of portraying the role of Princess Diana.

Debicki’s filmography includes The Great Gatsby, Widows, and The Night Manager, and she’s soon set to appear in Christopher Nolan’s next film Tenet. Her casting was announced by The Crown’s social media channels, and she can’t wait to take on this iconic role.

“Princess Diana’s spirit, her words and her actions live in the hearts of so many. It is my true privilege and honor to be joining this masterful series, which has had me absolutely hooked from episode one,” said Debicki in a press release.

She’ll replace Emma Corrin, who’ll be introduced as Princess Diana in the upcoming fourth season. The cast will be completely replaced for the final two seasons, and it currently includes Imelda Staunton as Queen Elizabeth II, Jonathan Pryce as Prince Philip, and Lesley Manville as Princess Margaret.
