“The Crown” Season 3 Premiere Date Revealed

Netflix has finally confirmed the premiere date for the new season of its acclaimed royal drama The Crown.

Monday brought great new for The Crown fans as the streaming giant finally revealed that the third season of its award-winning series will be back November 17th. This means the new season is set to air nearly two years after the second season premiered. 

Season three will see Oscar-winner Olivia Colman star as Queen Elizabeth II, Tobias Menzies as Prince Philip, and Helena Bonham Carter as Princess Margaret. They replace Claire Foy, Matt Smith, and Vanessa Kirby, who played the roles in seasons 1 and 2. 

The forthcoming season will also star Ben Daniels as Margaret’s husband Anthony Armstrong-Jones, Charles Dance as Lord Mountbatten, Marion Bailey as the Queen Mother, Josh O’Connor as Prince Charles, Erin Doherty as Princess Anne, and Jason Watkins as Prime Minister Harold Wilson.

A fourth season of The Crown is currently in production.
