The latest season of The Crown created more buzz than any new show that came out last year, and the list of Golden Globe nominations reflects its success. The hit Netflix drama about the British royal family topped the list of nominations on the television side with a total of six nods.

The Crown will be competing against Lovecraft Country, The Mandalorian, Ozark, and Ratched in one of the night’s major categories—best television series – drama. It’s also in the running in several acting categories thanks to its stars Olivia Colman, Emma Corrin, Josh O’Connor, Helena Bonham Carter, and Gillian Anderson.

The Emmy-winning Canadian series Schitt’s Creek is the main contender in the comedy categories with a total of five nods. When it comes to the miniseries and television film field, The Undoing starring Nicole Kidman and Hugh Grant led the way with four nominations.

This year’s Golden Globes are scheduled for February 28th, with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler returning as host for the third time.
