All American is one of the most successful franchises that The CW has in store, and they’re not letting go of it anytime soon. The hit sports drama set in the world of professional football is officially returning for an abbreviated 13-episode seventh season.

Inspired by the life of former NFL linebacker Spencer Paysinger, All American follows the journey of a young football player Spencer James, as he tries to find balance between his upbringing in South Los Angeles and his new life as a Beverly Hills High student.

Season 6 of this series is currently airing on The CW, and it sees Spencer trying to adjust to the shift in the team’s dynamics during his time at GAU, while also getting ready for big changes before heading to the NFL draft.

Daniel Ezra leads the cast of All American, which also includes Michael Evans Behling, Bre-Z, Greta Onieogou, Samantha Logan, Cody Christian, Karimah Westbrook, Monét Mazur, and Chelsea Tavares.

The CW revealed that All American is the network’s most-watched series across all linear and digital platforms in the official renewal announcement, which also included two other shows. The Chosen was picked up for Season 4, while Penn & Teller: Fool Us is officially returning for Season 11.
