Drew Barrymore is one of several Hollywood superstars to turn to hosting in recent years, and her talk show is here to stay! After a rocky start to its fourth season, The Drew Barrymore Show will officially be back for another trip around the sun on CBS.

Wendy McMahon, president and CEO of CBS News and Station, confirmed the show’s early renewal and praised Barrymore for truly creating an experience unlike any other on television with her talk show.

“Drew continues to catapult the show into the cultural zeitgeist with her empathetic and thoughtful interviews transporting viewers into her living room, where they feel like they are listening to a conversation between two friends that they are a part of,” said McMahon in a statement.

The Drew Barrymore Show was off to a rocky start this season after the host made a controversial decision to return on air while the WGA strike was still happening. She eventually reversed her decision, and Season 4 launched post-strike on October 16, 2023.

The Drew Barrymore Show received multiple Daytime Emmy nominations over the years, and it’s currently in the running for the best daytime talk show awards at the People’s Choice Awards.
