The Family Business is heading to New Orleans for a new spin-off and the cast of this series will be pretty packed. Sixteen cast members join the ensemble of this promising project, starting with Lela Rochon, Yvette Nicole Brown, Orlando Jones, and Pooch Hall.

The new spin-off will take us to the unique underground casino and club called Midnight Blues, described as a flourishing staple in the New Orleans area for more than a hundred years and a favorite with everyone from jazz enthusiasts, tourists, and celebrities to homebred locals who just want to kick back and gamble amongst their own.

Lela Rochon, Pooch Hall, and Brandon T. Jackson will star as Big Shirley Duncan, her younger brother Floyd, and her son Marquis, the owners of Midnight Blues. The club has been in their family for generations, but its future becomes uncertain after up-and-coming underworld boss Jean LeBlanc (David Banner) comes into the picture.

Community star Yvette Nicole Brown will also be a part of the show’s cast along with Orlando Jones, Ben Stephens, Quincy Brown, Nicole Galicia, Erica Hubbard, Sarah Carter, Stan Shaw, Bern Nadette Stanis, Nayirah Teshali, Sacaiah Shaw, Jenson Atwood, AzMarie Livingston, and Deric Augustine. Brandon T. Jackson was the first actor cast in this series, and he’ll also serve as associate producer alongside Rochon.
