“The Gilded Age” Adds Six to Season 3 Cast

The Gilded Age is one of the most beloved period dramas on TV right now, and its next season is just around the corner. Six new cast members have joined the hit HBO series ahead of Season 3, including Dylan Baker, Kate Baldwin, and Michael Cumpsty.

Baker (The Good Wife) will play Dr. Logan, described as “a family doctor who treats a number of high society families”. Baldwin will play John Adams’ older sister Nancy Adams Bell, while Cumpsty (Severance) joined the cast as a British nobleman Lord Mildmay.

Season 3 cast will also included John Ellison Conlee (Boardwalk Empire) as a successful businessman Weston, Bobby Steggert (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) as the famed artist John Singer Sargent, and newcomer Hannah Shealy as Mrs. Astor’s married daughter Charlotte Astor, who just returned from a trip abroad.

They join the show’s impressive ensemble cast, led by Carrie Coon, Morgan Spector, Cynthia Nixon, and Christine Baranski. Bill Camp, Merritt Wever, Leslie Uggams, LisaGay Hamilton, Jessica Frances Dukes, Andrea Martin, Hattie Morahan, and Paul Alexander Nolan have also been added to the cast ahead of Season 3.

The Gilded Age chronicles the clash between members of New York City’s high society in the late 19th century, and it was met with positive reviews and multiple Emmy nominations across its two seasons.
