Shortly after CBS renewed The Drew Barrymore Show for another season, Fox announced that another celebrity-led talk show would be back! The Jennifer Hudson Show is officially coming back for another ride after being renewed for its third season.
Hosted by the Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson, this talk show has been airing on Fox since 2022, and it made quite a splash with its first two seasons. It has been nominated for six Primetime Emmy Awards and experienced significant growth among younger viewers in Season 2, for a weekly average of 4.4 million total viewers.
Hudson confirmed the show’s renewal and said she was blessed to have this platform, where people can share their humanity and stories, learn from each other, and celebrate one another.
“I owe my thanks to so many – to my incredible staff and crew at The Jennifer Hudson Show, our amazing station partners that bring the show to audiences across the country, and most importantly, our beautiful viewers for allowing me into your home,” said Hudson in a statement.
Warner Bros. Television Group’s CEO Channing Dungey described Hudson as a rare talent, both in front of and behind the camera, and said they’re so proud of the entire Jennifer Hudson Show team for their amazing success across the past two seasons.
