Season two of The Mandalorain is happening.
Multiple outlets report that The Mandalorian will officially be back for another season at Disney+.
The renewal was confirmed by creator and show runner Jon Favreau just hours after the season one finale dropped on the streamer.
The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order, following the travails of Mando in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.
The tweet not only confirmed that a second installment is coming and is set to debut in the fall of 2020. Favreau’s tweet features a figurine of a Gamorrean, a species which guarded Jabba the Hut in earlier Star Wars films. Could this mean that that season 2 is set to explore the native planet of Gamorr? Or is it going to venture into Jabba’s palace on Tatooine?
