Midge Maisel better make room on that stage, because she is set to be joined by a “sterling” counterpart.
The first bit of casting news for season three of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel has been announced, and it looks an awful lot like Sterling K. Brown.
“The Palladinos were kind enough to write something for your boy, and I said yes. So stay tuned. I’m getting together with Midge, and it’s gonna be awesome,” Brown said in a video while announcing the good news.
Midge, played by Rachel Brosnahan, previously said that she would love to have the super smooth Sterling on the show. Looks like she’s gotten her wish!
But don’t worry, This Is Us fans, Brown will be back as Randall Pearson, as he will only be starring in a three-episode arc on the Amazon Prime comedy.
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel returns later this year.
