The U.S. version of The Masked Singer has unveiled the lineup for its upcoming season.
The third season of the show will return to Fox this weekend following the Super Bowl. The episodes will follow eighteen contestants who will have their identity concealed by whacky and colorful costumes.
If you haven’t yet seen the show, it is essentially a reality singing competition, where the contestants’ identities are concealed from the panel, other contestants, and the audience. This means that they are judged for their talent alone. It also means that as an audience, we get the added bonus of watching eccentrically dressed glamorous animal masks belt out Whitney Houston.
The season three lineup looks even more ridiculous and visually fabulous than ever before. The lineup includes a human-sized banana, a glamorous astronaut, a bombastic pink monster, a punky turtle, and more. It looks like this is going to be the wildest season yet.
