The Family Film & TV Awards are heading to CBS this winter, and the list of nominees is finally in. The CBS sitcom The Neighborhood is leading the way in the television field with a total of three nods, including the best ensemble series.
The Neighborhood is led by Dave Johnson (Max Greenfield), a friendly but awkward family man who moves to a predominantly African-American neighborhood in Los Angeles with his white family. The Johnsons must find a way to adjust to their new neighborhood, starting with their next-door neighbor Calvin Butler (Cedric the Entertainer).
This CBS series will be in the running for three accolades at the upcoming Family Film & TV Awards, starting with best ensemble series, alongside Loki, Percy Jackson and The Olympians, Star Trek: Picard, and Unstable. Its stars Beth Behrs and Cedric the Entertainer have scored nominations for the outstanding actor in a TV series.
The Family Film and TV Awards “seek to honor excellence in family-orientated filmmaking” and the winners are chosen by a panel of industry leaders, celebrities, and the readers of Popstar! Magazine. The next ceremony will be held on January 27, 2024, with The Talk‘s Akbar Gbajabiamila and Amanda Kloots hosting the festivities.
