“The OA” Releases its Trailer for Part II

Jason Isaacs and Brit Marling in "The OA"

We hope you’ve been practising your portal-opening moves, because The OA is set to return for season two!

The first season of the supernatural series was one of the first original content shows created by Netflix in 2016.

It tells the story of Prairie Johnson: a young blind woman who returns after being missing for 7 years — with the ability to see.

Referring to herself as “The OA”, which stands for “Original Angel”, she enlists a group of strangers to help her rescue other missing people.

Brit Marling (Prairie), Emory Cohen (Homer), and Jason Isaacs (Hap) will reprise their roles in the next instalment which Netflix has called “Part II”. Scott Wilson, who played Prairie’s father, also filmed scenes prior to his death from leukaemia last October.

In the trailer for Part II, it appears as though Prairie was able to transport her consciousness to another dimension, while characters in the first dimension try to figure out the truth behind her story.
