Sabrina, meet Sabrina.
Just before Halloween, Netflix decided to treat its subscribers by releasing Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.
The spooky drama, starring Kiernan Shipka as the titular character, is a darker retelling of the tales of Sabrina Spellman, who was previously played by Melissa Joan Hart in Sabrina the Teenage Witch.
The cast of the original series wished their new counterparts well ahead of the show’s debut:
But now some fans are wondering whether Melissa might show up in Greendale…
Her response?
She hasn’t yet been asked, but she would be keen.
“It’s kind of like a sisterhood when you play the same characters, I think,” Melissa said. “Probably like the way the James Bond guys feel, or something… But I think it’s great.”
We hope she gets to test that theory!
