The Osbourne Family are Very Close to Revisiting Their Reality TV Show

Kelly Osbourne has revealed that her family is the “closest” they have ever been to accepting an offer to reboot their reality TV series, The Osbournes.

Before the dawn of reality TV, The Osbournes was one of the first shows to give insight into the everyday life of a celebrity family. Revolving around Black Sabbath frontman, Ozzy Osbourne, the show put a spotlight on what domestic life was like for the heavy metal singer.

Since the show’s cancellation in 2005, fans have been persistently wondering whether a reboot is on the cards. Now, Kelly Osbourne has hinted that a new season is finally a real possibility.

“I’m not joking, every single year about every three months or so someone else gives us another offer and we keep saying no,” Kelly told People. “It keeps coming ’round. Right now there’s another offer on the table and I think this is the closest we’ve ever come to accepting one. But whether that will happen or not, I don’t know.”

Kelly also explained that there would be a lot to think about should they revisit their show. The family has gotten a lot bigger since 2003 when the show first aired.

“We’ve got other people to think about,” she said. “My brother [Jack] has got three kids. Do we want that life for them without them being old enough to choose if they want to do it or not like my brother and I were?”

It’s still in the early days, but should the show be rebooted, we’ll be announcing it immediately.
