Eugene Levy embarked on quite a journey since his show The Reluctant Traveler first premiered on Apple TV+, and he’s gearing up for another adventure. The Schitt’s Creek star is ready to pack his bags again after his travel documentary was renewed for Season 3.
The Reluctant Traveler sees Levy exploring majestic destinations from all around the world. We’ve seen him go everywhere from Costa Rica and Japan to South Africa and the Maldives in Season 1, embark on an epic Euro trip in Season 2, while Season 3 promises a “truly global adventure” for the Emmy-winning actor.
Levy confirmed the show’s renewal in an official statement and said he appreciates its attempts to get him out of his shell.
“To be a real seasoned traveler you need to have a strong sense of adventure and curiosity, and I’m ashamed to say over the past two seasons I’ve developed neither. But I have to admit I’m having a lot of fun putting in the effort. So the beat goes on, apparently,” joked Levy.
In addition to being the face of this travel show, Levy also serves as one of its executive producers alongside David Brindley, Nic Patten, Sara Brailsford, Iain Peckham, and Lily Fitzpatrick.
