The next season of The S-x Lives of College Girls has been uncertain since Season 3 wrapped up, and Max finally made a decision about its future. The fan-favorite teen comedy won’t return for its fourth season at Max, and it’s currently looking for a new home.

The S-x Lives of College Girls centers on a group of college students attending the prestigious Essex College in New England. It focuses on four college roommates, as they navigate the struggles and hardships of being a college student and entering adulthood for the first time.

Pauline Chalamet, Amrit Kaur, Alyah Chanelle Scott, and Reneé Rapp led the first two seasons of the show, before Rapp stepped down as a series regular in Season 3. The show’s cast also included Christopher Meyer, Ilia Isorelýs Paulino, Renika Williams, Gracie Lawrence, and Mia Rodgers.

The S-x Lives of College Girls was co-created for Max by Justin Noble and Mindy Kaling, under her overall deal with studio Warner Bros. Television. Noble also served as showrunner, while Kaling joined him as one of executive producers alongside Howard Klein, Charlie Grandy, Matt Warburton, David Gordon Green, Jessica Kumai Scott, and Michael Spiller.

Warner Bros. Television is planning to shop the show to other outlets following its cancellation at Max, leaving the door open for a potential Season 4.
