The long-running Fox animated comedy has tapped the voices of one of Hollywood’s power couples.
John Legend and Chrissy Teigen will star on the upcoming 31st season of The Simpsons. They join the previously announced slew of A-lister set to guest star including Jason Momoa, Bryan Cranston, Niecy Nash, Megan Mullally, Holly Hunter, Mary Steenburgen and Billy Eichner.
The couple will play themselves. “Who else but John Legend could sing a song so emotionally powerful that it would make the people of Springfield do something smart?” Simpsons executive producer Matt Selman tell Entertainment Weekly. “Who else but Chrissy Teigen would befriend Marge in the comments section of Instagram?”
The network announced the news at the Television Critics Association press tour on Wednesday.
The Simpsons returns to Fox on September 29th.
