The Hargreeves siblings will wrap up their epic journey in the final season of The Umbrella Academy, and Netflix just gave us a taste of things to come. The new trailer for this superhero series sees them joining forces to save the day one last time, despite being stripped of their powers.
Based on Dark Horse’s comic book series of the same name, The Umbrella Academy centers on a group of estranged siblings, who reunited to solve the mystery of their father’s death as the apocalypse looms on the horizon.
Season 4 will see the Hargreeves siblings stuck in a new timeline dictated by the family patriarch Reginald, where they no longer have their powers. They’ll also have to face new enemies who want to see them wiped from existence, unsure if they have what it takes to face them without their powers.
Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher, Justin H. Min, Ritu Arya, and Colm Feore will reprise their roles in the fourth and final season. They’ll be joined by several newcomers to the cast, including Nick Offerman, Megan Mullally, and David Cross.
The Umbrella Academy will wrap up with six new episodes, set to be released on Netflix on August 8.
