The Walking Dead star Chandler Riggs has teased the return of his character, Carl Grimes.
Riggs shared his dubious hint on Twitter. He retweeted an article from ComicBook that talks about “plans to bring some dead characters back.” He then added a wide-eyed emoji, suggesting that Carl’s return could be on the cards.
The comeback seems unlikely given that Carl Grimes was killed off by the walkers so brutally. That said, it could be the case that Carl returns in flashback form.
Nonetheless, fans have been jumping up at the opportunity to demand Carl’s revival since Riggs shared the tweet.
One fan wrote: “Whosever idea to take Carl off was a bad one. Especially since Rick is gone. He could’ve taking Rick’s place. Everyone was mad when Carl was killed!”
Another wrote: “How will this work? I still am mad that Carl is dead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He never got to find love like he does in the comics!!!!”
The Walking Dead airs on Sundays at 9pm on AMC.
