These Are The Bestest and Bizarrest “Taskmaster” Highlights

Greg Davies and Alex Horne in "Taskmaster"

Taskmaster is currently one of the best and most bizarre comedy series on British TV. The premise is simple: Greg Davies pits five celebrities up against each other, and they attempt a series of unusual tasks. He then arbitrarily judges them to determine who will ultimately win the series and take home a model of his head.

Here’s a look back at some of the outlandish highlights of the series so far.

Noel Fielding Goes Bananas

The task of camouflage was taken to a new level when Noel Fielding dressed in yellow and transformed himself into a banana. Shrunk down and hidden in a photograph of a bowl of fruit, Fielding was not discovered by Greg Davies and won the task.

Impress the Mayor of Chesham

Perhaps the most difficult challenge for Jon Richardson culminated in poetry, dance, and bribery. Tasked with entertaining the Mayor of Chesham, the comedians found it difficult to entertain someone on the spot. Joe Wilkinson took the lead when he bribed the Mayor with 42 ice lollies.

Celebrating the Life of Rosalind

Aishling Bea, Sally Phillips, and Bob Mortimer created the perfect homage to a total stranger when tasked with writing and performing a song in her honor. They relentlessly sang “Rosalind’s a f***ing nightmare” to a woman they had never met before in their life.

The Tree Wizard

The team was tasked with creating something that looks impressive backward. Romesh Ranganathan outshone the rest of his group by creating a short film where he magically floated three balloons into the air to an 80s theme song.

In Love With a Water Cooler

“Little” Alex Horne risks the wrath of Greg Davies with this unsanctioned task. The contestants are challenged to make a short film, which inspires Sally Phillips to lock herself in a caravan with an amorous water cooler. It’s probably best you just watch the clip. Only we can’t find it. So you’ll just have to guess.
